Melting Pot

14th Birthday Party with Joey Negro

Upstairs Lounge with Spittal & Nowicki (Sub Rosa)

Plus residents Andrew Pirie & Simon Cordiner

Melting Pot are 14 years young on the 7th March, and what better way to celebrate it than by inviting Disco Don Dave Lee aka Joey Negro, along to make sure we party in style!

Joey Negro is without doubt one of the superstar DJs of the house and disco genres; having a career that has spanned over two decades and is as famous for producing records for his own Z Records and under several aliases including The Sunburst Band and Z Factor. Itís a real treat to see a DJ of this calibre in such an intimate setting!

As for Melting Pot, itís been a while since the first night with Bill Brewster back in 2001 at the old Riverside Club venue. Since then weíve partied on vintage paddle steamers, in forests, in numerous venues, warehouses, roof tops, countries Ė itís been quite a trip!

Also joining Andrew and Simon are local whiz kids Spittal & Nowicki from the Sub Clubís excellent Sub Rosa night. They have been killing it every Wednesday at the club for quite a while; see why, as they take control of the upstairs lounge for the whole night.

Last but by no means least, a huge thanks to all the party heads who have made running this event possible and more importantly, so much fun.

Expect balloons, a massive sound system, and of course, a belter of a night!

Melting Pot Easter Sunday Spectacular

Mr Scruff - All Night Long

Upstairs Lounge with residents Andrew Pirie & Simon Cordiner

We finally got Scruff to play Melting Pot last year. Not surprisingly it was as special as we hoped, so he's back for more Easter Sunday action in 2015!

Scruff is someone who loves to play for as long as possible, mix up lots of different styles of music and pays particular attention to his sound, with vinyl a speciality. What's not to love?!?

This is a pretty rare opportunity to see Scruff in such an intimate venue, so don't miss out.
