And residents Andrew Pirie & Simon Cordiner, of course!
We finish off 2015 at The Admiral with a Christmas party till 4am, with one of our favourite homegrown DJs, Simontron from Hot Mess, joining Andrew and Simon for the festivities!
Hot Mess resident Simonotron has been perfecting his DJ craft for the past 20 years, though it's only in the last decade that he's been promoting his own nights. First with Club for Heroes (which MP resident Andrew played at in Edinburgh) and more recently with Hot Mess which he started in Edinburgh five years ago. It's been with the monthly residency at The Poetry Club in Glasgow from 2012 that has really put Simon and Hot Mess on the map.
Alongside Hot Mess promoter Colin O'Hara they have breathed life back into the gay scene that had been lacking the musical prowess that Simon brings to the table. Simon's sets are a mixture of the best of disco, house and techno, with the odd pop classic thrown in to keep you on your toes.
Though Hot Mess is known for being a queer party, everyone is welcome as long as you plan to get on the dancefloor and lose yourself to Simonotron's exquisitely crafted sets.
Simon last played for us when we had Nicky Siano three years ago, we can't wait to get him downstairs this time to play an all vinyl set on our amazing soundsystem.
